Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is the only gateway into and out of the busy holiday island of Mallorca. The airport is situated close to Palma de Mallorca Town, to the south-east, and can be accessed directly by the main 717 road, as well as a number of other major roads.
Mallorca Airport lies of the western coast of the island, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The airport is especially close to a number of towns and villages, such as Can Pastilla and Las Maravillas to the south, Sant Jordi and S'Aranjassa to the east, and Sa Casa Blanca to the north. Also of interest, Son Ferriol lies directly west of Palma de Mallorca Airport and is home to a new golf course.
The airport is surrounded by a number of busy roads, including the Autovia de Levante to the south, the Cami de Can Capó (C-717) to the east, the Carretera de Manacor to the north, and the PM-30 to the west. Mallorca Airport is well signposted along the main routes as the 'Aeropuerto de Palma de Mallorca'.

- From Puerto de Alcudia, take the 713 south to Palma de Mallorca
- Follow the signs for the airport
Directions to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) from the south:
- From Banos de San Juan, head north to Campos
- Join the 717 at Campos and head west to Palma de Mallorca
- Follow the signs for the airport
Directions to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) from the east:
- From Porto Cristo, head west to Manacor
- When you arrive at Manacor, head west along the 715 to Palma de Mallorca
- Follow the signs for the airport
Directions to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) from the west:
- From Cabo de la Mola, head north to Andratx
- Upon reaching Andratx, head south on the 719 to Peguera
- From Peguera, continue north-east on the 719 to Palma de Mallorca
